Nordic Shorts Expo

Nordic Shorts Expo er gjort mulig gjennom støtte fra Kulturrådet (Kreativ næring – regional bransjeutvikling) og Utenriksdepartementets reisestøtte (forvaltet av NFI). Takk til Midtnorsk filmsenter og Cinemateket Trondheim for samarbeid om avviklingen.

Tre dager hvor filmskapere kan møte innkjøpere, distributører og representanter fra store internasjonale festivaler i en avslappet ramme.

For profesjonelle filmskapere vil det bli mulig å delta på det meste (se kolonnen 'Filmmaker schedule'), og møte ekspertene i rundebordsprat og ved å booke en-til-en møter. Merk: Du må ha festivalpass for å delta. Det kan forhåndskjøpes på Hoopla, eller kjøpes på Nova under festivalen. Videre - Onsdag er de tre første innslagene del av Kortfilmkonventet på Rockheim, så det kreves konventpåmelding for å delta på disse tre innslagene.

Meet the shorts of the North!

Nordic Shorts Expo is a new event during Minimalen, an arena designed to help festivals and distributors explore upcoming shorts and filmmakers of the Nordic Countries. Simply put, we already have 35 glowing hot Nordic films in competition, and the presence of quite a few of the filmmakers.

The main arena will be the home of Cinemateket Trondheim, with a spacious mingle area and a small arthouse cinema, located just across the street from the Festival hotel and the main festival venue, Nova kino.

Note to Professional Filmmakers: It will be possible to attend most of the events (see column 'Filmmaker Schedule' below) and meet the experts in the round table talk and by booking one-on-one meetings. Note: You must have obtained a festival pass to participate. It can be pre-purchased at Hoopla, or bought at Nova kino during the festival. Furthermore - on Wednesday, the three first sessions are part of the Short Film Convention at Rockheim - thus, enrolment in the Convention is necessary.
