Special Screening: Norwegian Offspring
In this special screening, we meet Stein, who is obsessed with theories about the suppression of male sexuality in modern society. When his mother, with whom he has lost contact, is found dead in her apartment in Copenhagen, he is left without reconciliation. Most of all, he wants to fulfill his human purpose: to reproduce. This is a story about sexuality, fear of death and the longing for connection.

The mid length film Norwegian Offspring won the student film competition La Cinef at Cannes Film Festival 2023. It was the graduation film from the Danish Film School for Norwegian Marlene Emilie Lyngstad, well known to Minimalen’s audience through a number of previous short films. She will be present to introduce the film and answer questions from the audience. |
