Meet the shorts of the North!

FOR INVITED EXPERTS
Minimalen established Nordic Shorts Expo in 2018 as an arena designed to help festivals and distributors explore upcoming shorts and filmmakers of the Nordic Countries. Simply put, we already have a bunch of glowing hot Nordic films in competition, and the presence of quite a few of the filmmakers.

The Expo initiative offers no-nonsense activities like:
Special screenings – both in the theatre and online
Networking events with food and drinks
Ample room for one-on-one meetings between the filmmakers and the international festivals and distributors
Opportunities to experience the Norwegian winter and untouched nature at its best, in and around the Viking age capital of Norway.

FOR PROFESSIONAL FILMMAKERS
It will be possible to attend most of the events (see column 'Filmmaker Schedule' below) and meet the experts in the round table talk and by booking one-on-one meetings.

Note: You must have obtained a festival pass to participate. It can be pre-purchased at Hoopla, or bought at Nova kino during the festival.
