ELECTRIC SWAN + THIRD KIND
Regularly, excellent new films come along that do not fit into our fixed formats. These are two of them. It so happens that both works are linked to one of our Greek favorites from last year, Konstantina Kotzamani - she has written the screenplays for both films and directed the former. The latter is directed by her friend and filmmaker colleague Yorgos Zois.
Electric Swan is a surreal micro-portrait of Buenos Aires, a mid-length film that premiered at the Venice Festival this fall. Third Kind is sci-fi of the philosophical kind, and premiered at Cannes 2018 (Critics Week).

ELECTRIC SWAN Bygninger skal liksom ikke bevege seg. Men på Avenida Libertador 2050 beveger en bygning seg og taket skjelver, noe som forårsaker en merkelig kvalme som fortærer beboerne. De som bor på toppen er redde for at de skal falle ned - de som bor nedenfor er redde for at de skal drukne. Buildings are not supposed to move.
