Meet the shorts of the North!

Nordic Shorts Expo is a new event during Minimalen, an arena designed to help festivals and distributors explore upcoming shorts and filmmakers of the Nordic Countries. Simply put, we already have 48 glowing hot Nordic films in competition, and the presence of quite a few of the filmmakers.

The main arena will be the new home of Cinemateket Trondheim, with a spacious mingle area and a small arthouse cinema, located just across the street from the Festival hotel and the main festival venue, Nova kino.

For professional filmmakers, it will be possible to attend most of the events (see column 'Filmmaker Schedule' below) and meet the experts in the round table talk and by booking one-on-one meetings. Note: You must have obtained a festival pass to participate. It can be pre-purchased at Hoopla, or bought at Nova kino during the festival.
