A brand new short film series in six parts created by Mårten Nilsson, Kim Hiorthøy and Gunilla Heilborn. We are pleased to have Mårten Nilsson present to guide us through the universe of the series. The trio have previously collaborated on the prize-winning films What To Do (Guldbaggen 2007, Minimalen 2009), This is Alaska (Minimalen 2010) and The Lodge.

WE'RE DIFFERENT NOW is about a secret, underground group whose final goal and puropse is unclear. We follow them while they undergo a series of preparations and exercises—technical and physical as well as mental and social. We do not know what they are preparing for. Some tasks are complex and contradictory, while others simply defy categorization altogether. In a time of darkness and confusion, where the modern person is expected to continually improve, it is perhaps with our group that a kind of ultimate salvation can be found. Or total catastrophe.
